When the bike was stolen, it had its original black tires and black handlebars (see in pics). The seat is not the factory seat; I changed the factory seat out with a "Planet Bike" seat which has some padding. The Planet Bike logo is visible on the side of the seat. Also, the bike may be seen with two safety lights- one underneath the handlebars and the other below the seat. The frame is small, dark grey and is in pretty good condition. I can't recall any obvious scratches or scruff marks. A notable detail about the handlebars you might notice are very, very small bite marks, likely on the left handlebar (or both handlebars) These are the bite marks of a chipmunk.

The theft occurred sometime between Thursday June 23 (at night) and Sunday June 26. Spanning these dates, I was sick and quarantining due to Covid. I imagine that it was during this time that my garage was entered and the bike was taken. Nothing else in the garage was stolen; just the bike. It wasn't until finally leaving the house on Sunday June 26 for a drive through COVID test, that I noticed the missing bike. A police report was immediately filed.

Excellent condition with a recent tune-up. Aluminum gravel bike frame. Mechanical disc brakes. The groupset parts are SRAM Apex 1 and Praxis. Wide Clement gravel tires. HED rims. On the top side of the down tube is a partial silver sticker (I waited too late to remove the sticker fully, so part of the sticker stayed). The bike also had a Topeak bike rack on the back and mountain bike clipless pedals and a bike light on the handlebar. The bike tape on both sides of the handlebars was worn away.

My bike was locked up to a bike rack outside of Namaskar Yoga at 3946 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60613 starting at 11:00am. I taught a yoga class and after class, around 12:30pm, I went to get my bike and it was gone. At one point during class, I saw a larger group of people hanging out outside the studio, which isn't typical for that area. There is walking traffic on the sidewalk, but big groups don't typically hang out there. I'm wondering if that's when the bike was stolen and I'm sharing this in case it's been reported in other incidents. Although the bike lock was missing too, there was a tiny part of the lock left behind. It looks like it was a very clean cut through the u-lock, assuming some type of professional tool was used.
