Was at work at Richard Daley Center and when I came out my bike was gone from the East bike rack on the sidewalk facing the Clark street. No sign of my lock either, which was a cable lock with an integrated key lock, thief was captured on 2 surveillance cameras and Chicago Police is investigating. Any help greatly appreciated.

There is a small black Bell bag attached under the seat. I also have a black flattish LED light attached to the pole under the handlebars. It has a removable Bell gel seat. There is black electrical tape on the inner end of the handlebar silver tape. And then there is the silver metal water bottle holder on the bottom frame. The bicycle is in good condition. No rust. No dents.

The bike was secured with a cable, link chain and a padlock. It was attached to the fence in the playground at my work, which is an elementary school. Upon dismissal of the students I noticed that the bike was not where I had left it and then noticed the cable on the ground and it had been cut. The rest of the lock and link chain were not there.

I locked my bike to a bike rack, using a cable w/a padlock, in front of the entrance of my apartment just above JT's restaurant in Evanston, IL around 8pm the night of June 9th. Later that night around midnight, a fire alarm went off in my apartment building and when I waited outside with other residents, I saw that my bike was still locked there (as I pointed it out to my roommate who had not yet seen my new bike). The next morning, the bike and lock were both missing.
