Fairly new bicycle - purchased in fall of 2017. It is an electric bike with a battery behind the seat. The bike weighs a little over 60 pounds with the battery. The battery is locked into place with a small wire rack on top. The motor is in line with the frame. I replaced the handlebars with more-cruiser style handlebars and added a clip on cell phone holder and a brass bell. I don't have any photos of my own bike so I've attached a stock photo - the main difference being the handlebars.

I locked the bike around 11pm, retrieved it at 1:30AM, then relocked it in the same location around 2:30AM. When I returned to it at 9AM, it was missing. I believe someone must have cut through the lock to steal the bike. No sign of damage to the fence or the other bike that was locked to the same fence.

My family had come to Chicago from Michigan to ride bikes along the Lakeshore. We parked and locked our five bikes with multiple cable locks. The bikes were locked to each other and the bike rack at the east gate entrance to the Lincoln Park Zoo. We were in the zoo for approximately 2.5 hours. When we returned, one of the cables had been cut and one of the bikes stolen. The other four bikes were not taken, but a small bike pump strapped to one of the bikes was taken.

Bike was locked in my car parked outside of a business with no windows. Street is a less than half a block away from residential buildings, however, street is fairly secluded/non-busy. Sometime between 10:00pm and 6:30am my front passenger window was shattered and bike was taken from the back seat of the car.

Bike was locked to a metal fence through the frame and front tire, in a locked enclosure. Both doors to the enclosure were locked last night, and both were unlocked and open this morning. Lock was cut and left attached to fence. Building is mixed use, with four businesses occupying ground level. I believe whoever stole the bike was either affiliated with one of the other tenants or one of the businesses. No signs of forced entry.

Middle bar is scratched up due to the lock hitting it when locking the bike up. The brake pads were replaced and are a salmon color as opposed to the original pads. I switched out the default pedals for black resin platform pedals. Last time I saw it, the bike had black fenders, a Topeak bike rack on the back, a lock holder and lock attached to the side of the bike, and a light and cell phone holder on the handle bars - however, I realize all these things could have been removed.

I always park my bike in my garage when I'm not using it. I think it had been there for a day or two since last use.

I don't know exactly when the bike went missing, but it was sometime between the morning of August 27th and the morning of August 28th. I park the bike in the garage and don't bother locking it up because the garage is supposed to stay locked. When I went out to use the bike the evening of the 28th, it just wasn't there anymore. My assumption is that a door got left open or unlocked on accident and somebody nabbed it.
