Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

* I am not sure of the time. The Bike was locked at 8:00 PM Monday, July, 18, 2016 and the missing bike was discovered 10:00 AM Wednesday, July, 20 Bike was locked in a designated bike rack in a locked area behind the building. It was locked second in from the right on a bike rack. The cable was through the back and the u lock was locked to the front. To access this area you must have a key to the building (or i guess be good at climbing gates).

Bike was taken from our garage during the overnight hours.

Returned to bike after day of work, all bikes on rack appear to be missing or stolen, including mine. No locks present at scene.

I locked bike to bike post. However, lock was found there, on ground, still locked to post. No damage done to lock No bike. Possibility of lock didn't secure to/catch bike when I locked it originally?, hence bike not locked at all? But I don't know how, as I would have heard and/or saw lock fall to ground when I originally locked it? I contacted area businesses for security cameras, with little luk. Northside Realty (4753 N Spaulding, phone 7734637040, Saima was person I spoke with) has outside camera with direct vision of the area, but she was unsure how to work the camera/look up footage record at this time. Bike was previously registered within City of Chicago. But I do not have the seriel #.

Bike was locked to our back porch in East Humboldt with a Kryptonite NYC U lock. Porch was broken and bike was taken between 5pm-10pm on Saturday 7/16. Frame and fork updated slightly since picture was taken due to recall. But generally as pictured.

I parked my bike in a designated bike parking area under the overhang of 141 W. Jackson (Board of Trade Building) at the corner of Van Buren and Financial. I locked the bike to a bike parking stall at 7:15 AM using a combination lock cable device. When I went to leave at 5 PM the bike and lock were gone.

Neighbors left the door from the alley and the storage door unlocked.

My bike was parked in the bike parking area on the Northwestern Memorial Hospital campus off of Huron Street. Bike was locked in the same manner as every other day. When I returned from work, my bike was gone along with my cable.

I left my bike correctly Ulocked to a pole in the ground by the street. The person who stole my bike removed the pole from the ground and slid it out from my bike lock. When I returned my bike was gone and the pole was laying on the ground.

Both my roommates and my bikes were under our building (stupidly unlocked) and we forgot about them because of the rain. Someone saw them, came into our back yard and fled with their prize leaving the gate to the alley open.

Bike was locked to rack at NE corner of Damen and Wabansia (across street from Silver Cloud and Gant store) for a couple hours (~1130-2pm) while walking around the neighborhood. Came back to find bike missing and lock cut, hanging from rack. Bike has black frame with silver accent, white font. Mostly stock components except for white Bontrager seat.

Went to storage unit in building to retrieve some things and noted that the bike was gone. No damage to any of the door locks (although they were all locked except the security door deadbolt). Unsure of when they were stolen exactly.

Bike was in my friends garage and when he arrived, the garage door was open and bike was stolen

Not certain what day the bike was stolen, but it had to be between July 4th-July 16th. It was locked with a u-lock to a wooden railing behind my building in a blocked off alley. The wooden railing my bike was locked to was broken. Lock and bike now gone including a mounted bike rack in the rear. Crate that is in the picture was not stolen.
