It was in my garage. I put my bike in the garage every day. That night I had gotten home at around midnight, and when I went to leave the next day at about 10 a.m. it was gone.
Incident Description: 
3 bikes were stolen from our garage. This happened sometime during the early a.m. (as in sometime after midnight) on the 10th. When I went to take my bike to school in the morning, the large garage door was still wide open. One of the stolen bikes was recovered at Working Bikes because it's really nice (Brooks saddle, etc.) and a homeless man tried to sell it to them.

Single speed road bike. The stickers are peeling off, and only some of the rainbow stripes are visible. It is mainly royal blue with some sky blue. Blue grip tape. It is pretty scuffed up, and a few rust spots show through where the paint has worn away, especially on the front of the head tube/down tube where paint wore away from hanging my lock from my handlebars. The seat I last had on it has a piece of duct tape holding it together. There is also a piece of duct tape around the brake cable and top bar. It had a purple rear rack, with black tape covering some of it.

Almost new, with some scuffing to the paint. It's a fairly new model, large, and a stepthrough. Brown seats and handlebars, rack on the back, which, at the time of theft, had a black milk crate fastened to it with assorted bungie cords and cable ties. There was also an emblem from Rapid Transit Cycle Shop on it. The red model of this bike is not as popular as the others, and so it's fairly singular. I've never seen anyone else riding one.

Students' bikes are locked up to this rack all the time, as it's right outside a dorm. It's also set away from the street, and away from non-university residences, which leads me to believe it was a fellow student. Somehow--and the public safety official was completely confused by this, too--the lock was left locked to the rack, and the bike was gone. I saw it was stolen at one in the afternoon, and I had seen it last around two in the morning. I have no idea how it could have been stolen, as the lock is not a combination one.

I left my bike locked up pretty heavily outside my dorm at DePaul University before leaving for my winter break on November 16th. When I returned to school on January 2nd, the bike was no longer locked to the bike rack outside of the dorm. None of the other bikes that had been locked up in November were there either, save one. Unfortunately, the building was vacant for most of the break, meaning that the bike could have been stolen with relative ease.

Bike was parked in the back porch area of apartment building. Access to site is restricted by locked gate. Stolen Bike was covered by a tarp and locked to another bike through the wheel and frame. Other bike was locked to large pipe using a cable locked. Other bike had the wheel removed, which is how the Stolen Bike was stolen.

This is the shop bike of Copenhagen Cyclery, long john style front loading cargo bike from Copenhagen DK. 7sp sram IGH, front hydro disk, speedlifter adjustable stem, qr seatpost. Truvative single speed crankset. Equiped with white side panels and a built in child seat, the side panels have the shop name and website. The web is written wrong as Copenhagengenbike.com Weathered bamboo treat grips from PDW. The finish is scuffed up from a few years of use. To my knowledge the ONLY pink bullitt in Chicago.

This is the only pink bullitt in the city, and has the shop name on the side. Best guess is stolen for a quick flip, have heard rumor that it is still in the area as of afternoon of 12.18
