A 1997 Klein Pulse Mountain bike. It is orange with Klein decals. The paint is pretty nicked up in som places, especially on the drive-side chain stain where it is worn off from the chain smacking the frame. At the time the bike was stolen, there was a New Belgium bicycle bell on the handlebars near the right hand grip. The rear tire was a brand-new Forte mountain tire.

Tires: Armadillo Elite 700*25 (both front and rear). Shimano M540 pedals, 2 bottle cages (black). Black Timbuk2 saddle bag, red Cat-Eye TL-LD610 tail light. I had a pump attached to the frame. Two spare tubes in the saddle bag. Garmin speed/cadence sensor. Garmin mount on the stem (no the bike computer was not there). I forgot what is the brand of the saddle (not the original one).

The thieve(s) first broke the rear window of the car, but couldn't take the bicycle out from there, then they broke the side window entered from the side door and took the bicycle from there. Also stolen: bag containing Giro helmet, 2 sets of Pearl Izumi gloves, 1 spare Armadillo Elite 700*23 tire, 1 spare tube (sunscreen lotion ?). Yes if you want to call me stupid, feel free to do it. I have been doing it for the past 2 hours. I have switched off my "don't leave anything valuable in the car", guess I need to go back to Rome for a while....

The bike was in a locked entryway to my builing with the wheel locked to the frame. It was last seen around 2:00AM Saturday the 25th, and noticed missing after a forced entry around 9:00AM that same morning.
Incident Description: 
I used to keep the bike locked in the lobby of my apartment. The building I live in is a three flat, along with the landlord and his family in the other units. His daughter saw the bike around 2:00AM on the morning of Saturday 9/25. I was the first to discover it missing around 9:00 AM that same day. The glass on the door had been broken, and the bike was taken, while it was still locked to itself. The bike had heavy duty wheel locks and a heavy duty U-lock connecting the wheel to the frame. Whoever took the bike either knew it was there ahead of time or came into our yard and up to the front door to find it. My landlord also said he heard the gate open around 4:30 in the morning that day.

My bike was stolen from outside the DanceSpa at 1890 N. Milwaukee. I was in a 1 hour Zumba class and the bike disappeared some time within that hour. It was locked with a cable combination lock through the front tire and frame to the bike rack just South of the building. The bike has a black basket in the front, a bell on the left handlebar, and a rack on the back. I assume that the lock was cut and the bike was taken, along with the lock.
