Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

There was three teenagers at Mather High school. One Hispanic, and two black. They cut the two locks and left. Incident was on camera at Mather high school.

Just moved to building, didn't even get chance to register bike yet. Saw email that there was a theft. Saw that my bike was gone and just cut lock was left. Criminal went through garage door.

Bicycle was locked to the bike rack outside the faculty entrance of Northwestern Lavin Pavilion before work around 7:30am and was found missing at 4:30pm. Bike and lock were both missing. Assumed stolen.

Bike was stored in our garage. Believe thief hopped our back fence, walked into the garage through our back yard, opened the garage door and rode the bike out. My sister discovered the open garage door and missing bike within approx. 1 hour.

The bike was locked through the front wheel, onto the frame and around a post in front of the 451 W. Wrightwood building at approximately 7pm on Sunday, July 10. It was reported missing on Monday, July 11 at approximately 5:30pm.

The the bike was stolen out of our locked basement over the weekend.

I live in a basement unit apartment with a small alcove directly in front of our door, away from sight from the street. Usually leave our bikes at this location. Woke up this morning and both the bikes that were left there were gone.

Woke up to find my bike and roommates bike gone.

I came home from a bike ride to my rear coach house in Humboldt Park. I parked my bike below my porch to run inside and handle a few household chores and she I came back out a couple of hours later, it was gone. We live in a gated unit with locks.

I was taking the trash out and had the garage door open. As I stepped back inside to gather the rest of the trash someone walked in and rode off with my bike.

My front yard has a tall, metal gate surrounding it, I park and lock my bike every day inside the gate. I was coming back from work and locked it around 3:10am, when I walked outside today around 2pm my bike was gone. Someone cut through the gate and pulled my bike through. This bike was my everything, took me months to save for it. The bike was locked with a ULovk and also has security bolts for the seat and tires. please contact me or 311 if found.

Left bike locked overnight on (7/7) at Roscoe and Lincoln. Went to pick it up around 12:30 the next day and discovered it was missing.

Bike had a U-lock around frame and wooden post of our balcony on the second floor. Our balcony is visible from the alley, and despite having a locked fence around the balcony area, it is scalable. Someone must have seen the bike, climbed the fence, walked up our stairs and simply kicked the wooden post. If the thief hasn't sawn off the U-lock yet, it will still be around the middle of the frame. I didn't hear or see anything, other than the broken post this morning and no bike. Could have happen July 7 or 8, as I haven't checked my balcony since.

my garage door side door was kicked in and my bike was stolen. i live next to the police sergeants' association and after watching their security film i believe the incident happened between 12 am and 3 am.

Was raining evening of 7/7/16 so bike was left at Clybourn Metra station. Upon return the next morning, 7/8/16, the bike, lock, and cable were all gone.

My bike was one of 5 bikes that are kept in a garage overnight behind our house (not locked to anything in the garage, but the smaller garage door is padlocked). All bikes were stolen during the night, as someone broke in through the alley and got the main folding garage door off track, lifted it up slightly, and then got in and took all of the bicycles.
