Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I locked my bike on a fence located at the north east end of the building at around 12:30 pm. When it was time for me to leave the school around 6:30 pm, I looked on the fence and my bike was gone. The thieves cut my kryptonite cable lock that I used just for that day because my u-lock broke. My girlfriend who was with me at this time found the cut cable lock on the other side of the fence, I grabbed the lock and just said to myself WTFS!!! I came back to school the following day to ask the head security to review the surveillance videos from 9/21/2010 on the side where I locked my bike. Maybe then we could identify the unholy piece of s*** who stole my bike.

I was watching the Super Harvest Moon at Jarvis Beach... The moon was over the lake, my bike was in the park behind the beach. After giving some high fives for the harvest moon i turned around and my bike was gone! There were a few other people sitting around the park.

Bike was stolen from our shop while o a test ride. Any information leading to the return of this bike will be amply rewarded.

This bike was inside my fenced back yard in plain sight from the alley. (I know, it was stupid to leave it out there like that). The thieves entered my yard to steal the bike and also took a purple man's mountain bike from the garage. The garage was entered through the service door which was unlocked. I was at home, but taking a nap at the time.

Left bicycle in the ATM vestible of Chase bank, went up to teller (no line) completed my transaction, returned to my bicycle and it was gone. I asked those at the ATM and they said an Asian kid took it, heading north/west on Milwaukee. I phoned police, they arrived within ten minutes. Chase refused to pull security tapes so I could get an accurate description of the thief so I can only go by what I was told by a witness.

Locked the bike up in front of the shopping center to go the the gym. When I came out after my workout the bike was gone.

The bike was locked to the inside of a fence running along a sidewalk surrounding the parking lot of this apartment complex. It was parked on a ZipCar sign. I used the ZipCar from 2:30pm until 9pm, so it was stolen at some point in between.

The street sign was unbolted from its base, and the bike with U-lock was removed.

Somehow lock was popped off from bike rack.

Was working an evening shift, starting at 4:00. I arrived shortly before 4, locked up my bike and went upstairs. Came back down around 8:30 to go to dinner, looked for my bike and it was gone. The thief took everything, lock, helmet and bike.

My bike was left outside of my friends house one day when i was to come and get it. While it was outside someone must have walked by and stolen the bike because it was not there later that day.

Locked this bike with my wife's bike up together with a big heavy duty chain on a bike rack under the El tracks on North Avenue in Wicker Park (close to Milwaukee, North, and Damen). Came back after an hour and the Fuji was gone including the heavy duty chain but my wife's bike was still there LOCKED UP WITH A CHAIN THAT WAS NOT OURS!!!Seeing that the other bike was locked up with a combination lock, we assumed that they would come back.My wife called the cops. While she was still on the phone with 911, we both see a young male ride by us on my bike! When I started running after him he sped up. I chased him for a block but was not able to catch up. My wife was able to give a description while it was happening but have not been able to get the bike back yet.

Bike was locked to rack outside of learning center at school and Clark. My bike seat was stolen from the same location a month ago. My cable lock was cut and left at the scene. My bike is pretty clean, red and silver. Brand new seat, kick stand and no water bottle holders.

I had the bike chained to the back of my car in the spoiler in front of a bunch of open bars on a busy Saturday night. Went to watch a football game in the bar. Check and halftime and the bike was safe. Came out at the end of the game and the lock was cut and left as well as the bike rack and the bike was gone. I hope the SOB who did it rots in H*#&!

Please help me to find my stolen-bike, thank you so much!!!

At around 12 pm, I left my schwinn s-25 mountain bike, all new with a basket on rear rack, behind the building at SW corner of Cicero and Peterson (in the parking lot). I didn't lock it as I was feeling that it was pretty hidden and there weren't many poles around. After spending an hour and a half in Physical Therapy, I came downstairs to find nothing left but the helmet. Even though I only had the bike for less than a month, it left a gaping hole in my heart.

I left my bike U-locked to an iron fence, the fence had been clipped through and the bike was gone. It is the bike in the background of the picture. Sorry for the low quality.

My bike was ripped off of a picket fence.

I bought my husband a bike for his birthday and gave it to him last night. My son and him rode to school this morning. When my husband got home he left the bike on our front porch, unlocked, for an hour. The bike was taken from the front porch. Asked all of our neighbors if they saw anything and they did not.
