garage door left open and bike was stolen

Locked up the bike at 7:10 pm and was gone at 11~. Bike was parked right on Kedzie and Milwaukee essentially, right across from the Logan Sq. monument. Cable lock was weak but I thought the police presence of the rally and the major street would be enough of a deterrent, but I guess not.

A young man posed as maintenance and got into our locked and secure building, taking a bike that on the porch for maybe 30 minutes.

Bike was left locked outside overnight. Missing this morning.

My wife uses this bike to ride to the hospital early in the morning. She went to do that today and found it stolen at about 6am on July 23rd. The cable lock was cut and left outside. The bike was locked to the metal railing for the stairs outside my apartment at around 4pm on the 22nd when my wife got home from working.

Bike was locked in the bike storage room of my building at 721 w Belmont. When I went to get it today, it was gone! The U-lock was also gone. There was a mugging yesterday right outside in the alley, maybe they are connected? It is a white and yellow fixie.

Garage door was either opened or was accidentally open. Bike was not locked. Thief did not take the second bike in the garage (also unlocked - now secure). No other signs of theft.

Bike is locked in storage area near laundry room in our apartment building. You have to have a key to get there. Laundry is used for tenants in this building and one across the street. Bike was stolen off the bike rack in this locked area.

I've been using the gated and locked outdoor storage room to the basement of my condo building to store my bike for the past two years. This morning a neighbor noticed that the door had been unlocked and that my bike was no longer there. I'm kicking myself for not realizing how vulnerable my bike was being locked in this room.

My garage door bounced without me knowing. Bike was gone when I came back out. I have video footage of the thief.

Locked bike at Foster Ave beach house. Went for a walk. When I came back bike and lock were gone.

Went to lunch, locked up our bikes, came out and saw a dive bike lying on the sidewalk near where our bikes were parked. As we approached we realized that my bike was stolen and the divvy bike was left in its place.

Locked my back at the back of my apartment per usual after using it around 7pm (in a very residential area) - went on a walk during my lunch break and it was missing (3pm today) so someone must have stole it over night or in the morning. The lock was cut off. Was hidden under our back porch deck too. I live in the western part of Lakeview

Bike was stolen from a gated parking area beneath apartment building while out of town. My partner's bike was stolen at the same time. Stolen between 7am Friday, July 17 and 11am Monday, July 20, 2020.

It was locked to itself in my building foyer. Two other bikes park there, but only mine was taken.

My bike was locked outside my apt building on a fence. I woke up to see the fence was cut with some kind of electric saw or angle cutter and my bike and lock was gone.
