We locked two new bikes together to a street sign but were both missing. There is a piece of big stone laying on the ground.

Bicycle was removed from a shared garage in a condo building. Bicycle is a baby blue condor with white highlights, dropped handle bar, front break only. Photo shown is not of actual bike.

I stopped at Lincoln Station Bar & Grill, where my friends work, left my bike at the door, went inside to ask the employees if I could store the bike inside because I had forgotten my lock at home (not even thirty seconds went by), they said yes, went outside and looked to see a guy riding my bicycle northward, ran after him, lost him. I immediately filed a police report.

Bike stolen while both residents were out at work. Stolen from the 700 block of N Throop St. No trace of lock.

Bike was inside our shed in the back of the garden and locked to another dutch bike with a bike chain lock. In all, four bikes were stolen at the same time.

I left my bike around 7:55 AM in the bike area by SEO, where the building covers all the bikes. There were several bike there at the time. I came back around 11:10 AM and my bike and my lock were gone. I used only a cable lock, so I think it was cut there. I really wish they put cameras in that area.

I went to taget, locked my bike outside. When I came back out it was missing.

I discovered it was stolen on 8/26/14 but likely happened sooner. Bike was in storage room and do not check on it that often. Storage room is usually locked but occasionally neighbors forget to lock it. It was unlocked when I discovered it was stolen. An external building door was pried open around the same time I discovered the bike stolen.

My bike was stolen from the back of our 3 flat. My wife's bike and mine were locked up to the porch fence with the cable lock we've been using since we moved in last year. When I came home Tuesday, I found the cable cut and my bike missing. My wife's bike remained in it's original position, yet unlocked. It could have easily been stolen too, but the thief chose not to take it, although her bike is brand new and is worth far more than my 14 year old Trek. Our bikes are not in plain view from the street. I find it very curious that someone would go to the trouble of cutting the cable but only stealing one of the bikes. Third, our front gate which provides access to the sidewalk going to the back of the building is almost always locked, however, it appears this wasn't the case the evening it was stolen. Tthe bikes aren't in plain view so it would seem that someone had to notice the gate open, walk behind the house (pretty bold move) to see what they could steal, and either they had a cable cutter handy or would have needed to leave and return with the tool. Regardless, it seems that this happened while I we were home so the thieves were very brazen. In addition to my bike, the bike on the second floor balcony was also stolen. This bike was NOT locked up.

I went to a Fado's Irish Pub to participate in the running club that meets Thursdays 6:00 PM. I locked my bike across the street, in front of the Maggiano's on Grand Ave. at the corner of Clark St. I left for a run at 6:15 PM and after returning to the same location (outside Fado's on Grand Ave) I waited for the group to return. We went inside for food and drinks around 6:55 - 7:00 PM. I checked on the bike before going inside. When I came back out around 8:00 - 8:15 PM the bike was missing. There was no lock or sign of how the theft went down. I had a weak combo cable lock through the front wheel, frame, and metal upside down "u" shaped bike lock. The bike was curbside. I think that someone cut the lock and rode off or threw it into a pickup. The area was high traffic the whole time I was away from the bike.

i went to china town along with a group ride fro west town bikes locked up and 45min late went back and there bike was gone.

I locked the bike up at 6pm on Aug 26th. It was missing on Aug. 27 at 8am. The U lock was broken (it was left there in two pieces with the U part twisted).
