Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was locked at the Clybourn Metra stop while I was work. I came back from work to see that the bike frame and rear wheel were missing while the front wheel was still locked to the bike rack.

I locked up my bike at the corner of E Walton St. & N Rush St. right in front of the Diesel store at approximately 10:45pm. I then proceeded to head to meet a friend at the Drawing Room across the street next to Urban Outfitters. At about 12:10-12:15pm I proceeded to leave the Drawing Room. Upon leaving I noticed that my bike was gone with no sign of struggle to get it. It was if it had just disappeared out of thin air. If you see this bike please let me know. It's very distinguishable.

I heard the sound of a power tool outside of a friends place. I believe it was used to cut the u-lock. There was nothing left behind. Bike, u-lock and helmet were all missing.

The bike was parked in front of my apartment inside my gated patio area, and it was locked to a metal railing leading up to the stairs of my apartment. I have a very heavy duty U-Lock, and the lock was still on the railing this morning, unharmed, so it appears as if they somehow maneuvered the bike handles through the lock. Although this seems unlikely as I believe the frame was also locked up. So this leads me to believe that they may have had some sort of universal key to unlock the U-Lock?? Not sure what happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My bike was stolen at 68th & Jeffery. Kid decided to take a bike off of CTA Jeffery Bus. He took off riding it in South Shore Neighborhood.

The bike was stolen some time between 8pm and 11pm, it was last seen before 8. It was a rainy night. Bike was left unlocked in my backyard (alley door is locked and high). At 11, we realized the bike was no longer there when we saw our alley door had been opened and our side door was too. There were two other bikes near it, also unlocked, but only this one was taken. I live in a house, my backyard is not easy to look into because of high fence.

It was in my enclosed back yard. While I went in to unload groceries and answer the phone.

Locked backyard shed - 2 bikes stolen. Tommaso Mondial 2007 and Gray Fisher Wahoo - Black with yellow and red writing. Loews shed with pad lock - keyed. The shed locking hole was shattered allowing the door to be opened which the lock was never disengaged. Yard and fenced with gates as well.

Climbed metal fence, went on deck.

Playing basketball at wicker park. Basketball game moved to other side of court there for 10 minutes and bike was stoled.

Bike was locked outside of Timothy O'Tools bar for an hour. When I came outside the lock was left on the ground. Incident was caught on camera, the lock was cut with bolt cutters.

U-lock was bent out of original shape, snapped off from its attachment and left on the ground- fence was bent. Incident occurred sometime between 1am and 11:30am on July 27th, 2014.

Sometime between 8:45 AM and 5:00 PM on July 28th, the bike was taken from 740 N. La Salle where it was locked in front of Think Simple Cafe.

Came home and bike was gone from my home.

My bike was leaning against the railing of my back porch, which overlooks the locked courtyard of my apartment complex in Rogers Park. I went inside around 3:30p to put away groceries and became distracted with a variety of chores. I returned a few hours later, around 7p, to find the bike had vanished.

I went to visit relatives in the burbs , came back and the lock was cut through the cable sitting on the ground next to where i locked it.

Bike was locked to chain link fence. Person cut the fence and remove the bike and lock all together.

Bike was taken out of the garage between 8:15-9pm on Saturday July 12, 2014.
