If you could please be on the lookout for a stolen bike of mine I would appreciate it. The bike is a single speed conversion from an old Sapporo 12 speed. The frame is gray. Gearing is really tall. Has drop bars wrapped in a pink/pastel red grip. It was stolen from the metal rack in front of the Oriental Institute on the corner of 58th and University.

The frame of the bike was locked to a wooden post on the second story back deck of my apartment building. The theif broke the wooden post and stole the bike with the lock still attached. The seat was not attached to the bike when it was stolen. The bike was stolen at some point during the middle of the night.

Usually never leave my bike outside, but I was in a hurry and didn't have a chance to bring it up to my apartment. I locked it by it's frame to my side fence where it's not very visible. Before I upgraded to the velocity rims, I had previously left my bike out here every day/night for the past year and have had no problems. Came out early the next morning to find my frame hanging with now wheels. Rims were pried off with all the proper tools. Wheelset was almost brand new in great condition. Please keep you eyes out for anyone trying to sell them. Thanks!

Steve's was stolen from the garage area, right under the CCTV camera. They left through the back gate into the alley.
