Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Our garage people door was pried open and my bike which was locked to a metal bar placed into the wall of the garage was taken, lock didn't seem to be cut, but perhaps picked? It was a kryponite u-lock. Nothing else was stolen in our garage (4125 W. Melrose Street) My husbands bike and our tricycle weren't touched. I am so sad, and would love to find my bike; I've been riding year round for 14 years in Chicago and have no car.

I went inside to drop something off and it was stolen within minutes of me returning

My bike was located inside the Central Park pinkline station. The thief left my front wheel and the ulock on site. I was told it was a white guy with a black hat. Please contact me with info.

The bike was sitting in our back yard for 1 hour. All gates were closed. The person who stole it entered the back gate.

Bike was locked in a storage room on May 20th at midnight, when I went back on May 31st the bike was missing.

We had recently done maintenance on the bike in the back of our condo building, near the garage and back walkways. The bike would only be visible from the neighbor's open parking lot to the south or the rooftops nearby as it was next to a fence, making it difficult to see. The property is fully fenced and usually locked. My son was at home but didn't hear anything. It happened in the middle of the day between 10:30 am and 2 pm. The bike was locked to itself so someone had to carry it out.

Met some people at Nick's bar on Damen and invited them back to the house. 3 men left the house at approximately 7:00-8:00am out the back door. The door doesn't lock on it's own and I didn't go down with them to lock it. I imagine they came back upstairs, into my house to steal my camelbak with handpump and then back out to the porch to steal the bike. A white areofix force that was new, with white wall tires and bike glows in the dark, there was a white what're bottle on bike and black pouch under the seat with keys to the locks for the bike was taken out of our yard by some teenages according to witnesses.

parked my bike in Harlem blue CTA station ,in the parking area inside the ticketing system. the bike went missing by the time i came back in the evening.

My bike was locked to a One Way sign at the corner of Winchester and Berteau Ave. the sign was removed from the ground and the bike was stolen.

Bike was locked on busy street

At exactly 4:31pm on June 3rd, a medium height, skinny, African-American man with orange-red hair, glasses, a jacket with a large white star on each sleeve, and baggy camo-like shorts took the bike from the bike rack near the west door of the CBOT. The bike was unintentionally locked only to itself, and the lock was not taken. The man rode east east along Jackson before clearing the area of the building. This is all verified by security footage from the Chicago Board of Trade.

The bike was left overnight at 625 N Kingsbury. It was locked to the bike lock. The front tire had been detached and stored in the building at that address. This incident happened on Thursday, May 29th. The bike was last seen at around 930 pm that night.

Bikes were locked to a bike rack and each other at Lincoln Park Zoo at bike rack outside of north entrance on North Cannon Drive. Locked around 4:10pm; bikes were completely gone by 4:51pm. No lock, no sign the bikes had ever been there.
