Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

This is a 1991 bike with over 10,000 miles on it, a daily rider hybrid. This bike was painted black with blue paint splatters. However, the black paint is scratched off in many areas exposing the bright green factory paint and bare metal in a couple places. There is a sticker on that handle bars that says Marquette University but the sticker is not very noticeable and the thieves could have removed it. The rear tire is a quick release with a paddle lock installed over the quick release lever so that it cannot be taken off. The rear rim is new, probably still has a sales tag on one of the spokes, the front rim is very old. The petals are both black but they do not match. One is plastic and the other is aluminium. There are two holes on the top of the bike seat to aid in the installation of two cables ties which hold the seat to the seat frame one of the cable ties is missing which cause the seat the shift if picked up on. The bike lights are Radian 850s but the actual lights were taken out for charging when stolen only the sockets remain one on the front handle bars and one on the back seat post. There is also a rear facing red bike light behind the rear seat post. I think that there may also be a key ring with nothing attached to it affixed under the rear seat post. There is a large silver almost silly looking bike bell attached to the handle bars on the left hand side. The bike tires are Kenda Kwest brand. There are not water bottle holders even though some of photos show them. The photos are very old and a lot more black paint has been scratched off showing more green since the photos. By far the most distinctive feature of this bike is that it is a black bike with the paint scratched off revealing bright green paint in many areas. In the paint scratches one can see the names Merlin and in a different place Stinson. It was stolen with five other bikes when a home was broken into in Lawndale on July 6th, 2016.

Worn but good condition, drop handlebars wrapped in very faded black cloth tape, white tape holding that on, generic black seat, permanent Lotus logo on front of frame, frame lugged not welded

Mint condition with front bag and 2 gopro mount on handlebars with rear Ibera bag rack mounted on seat post........ Has green seat post clamp and 2 red white and green stickers on frame..........

Brand New 2016.

Bike is not new, has some scratches and a slight wobble. Seat has a tear in it, going the long way of the seat, such that you can see the inner foam of the seat. Rims are pink, and the spokes are black.

All black build with riser bars with part of a hamm's beer can visible in the stem. Leopard print seat chained to the frame. Frame and barest were in very new condition.

Front Schwinn label missing, commuter aluminum wheels, impenetrable tires in questionable shape, selle royals saddle-brown, krypton its u lock around the neck.... a lovely 1977 tank of a thing that's dinged up but pretty as heck

The bike had a UConn sticker running alongside the motorized battery portion of it. It is white and also has Three Olives Vodka emblems on it. There is a red U-lock that may be locked on to the back of it still.

The bike had black race wheels and a blue and grey SE Lager frame, typical of the 2011 and 2012 models. It had bullhorn handlebars and both caliper brakes on front and rear. It was set to run fixed, but the rear wheel could be flipped to run single speed or fixed. The tape on the bullhorns was fraying and needed to be rewrapped, but the bike was in overall good shape and had new tires and tubes.

Bike is in good condition. Had a seat post mounted rear rack and front and rear fenders. There is a distinguishing sticker on the frame-- I bought and registered the bike in Boulder, CO and the police department there put a sticker on it. It's a silver sticker and says something about Boulder Police on it.
