Bike was stored in apartment hallway and it looks as if someone crawled thru a window from a neighboring rooftop and took the bike

Possibly the garage door was left open while a resident was taking out garbage or simply forgot to close the door for some period of time and the bike was removed from the garage.

Vintage bike was locked to a pole just outside the Red Line Berwyn Stop. The closest streets are Broadway and Berwyn. I left the bike for a few days and found it missing including the lock. This bike is usually not desirable as it is old and one has one speed. It's a very large, black one speed bike, called a Gazelle.

Thief was able to get my electric garage door open and took all three bikes that were up on bike racks but locked to themselves. (Older U-locks with round keys) There was no way to ride any of the bikes and I suspect they were all throw on the back of a truck or van and driven off. The Scattante was the most valuable of the three. My wife's old bike was a blue mountain bike with flat tires, and locked. My kid's bike had flat tires, is white with orangish tires and it too was locked but taken.

The bike appeared to be stolen along with the lock. I assume they broke the lock and took the bike as well.

Fell asleep with bike in the yard unlocked. Yard is secured with a tall fence. Thief used plastic crates to scale fence then removed two fence boards to allow egress. I never recorded a serial #.

Bike was locked to street sign and sign was ripped out of ground. Bike taken.

Business was closed. I was working inside. Noticed it was gone at 2am. Last person to notice it still there was at 11pm. Sign was unscrewed, lifted and the bike was removed. With the Kryptonite u-lock and cable still attached.

Bike was locked overnight (at midnight) to parking sign pole outside front door of 24-hour taqueria. Found missing around 11am. Lock also missing. Suspect that either U-lock was clipped or pole was unbolted and re-bolted.

I came home from work and locked my bike up to the metal fence in front of my building which is inside the parameter of the fence. I locked my U-Lock to the fence and fed a cable lock through the front wheel attached to my U-Lock. I came out the next morning and our front gait was open and the bike was gone. They had taken everything (bike, wheels, helmet, and locks). They had cut through the fence and must have lifted the bike out.

I am a bike messenger and I left my bike leaning against the fence while I was at the door dropping off an order at Belmont and Racine. I turned around for 1 minute and it was gone. I still had food in my bag to deliver but no way of doing it.

This bike and another, both of which had been leaning against a structural pole in the LOCKED basement of my apartment complex, were missing when I came down to check on a few things. The bikes may have been stolen up to 2 weeks before noticing them.

Someone broke into my garage and stole it.

I left my bike in my friends backyard to go get a pizza,When we went back,It was gone.

I locked the bike to the fence at 12am. By 8 am the u-lock was cut clean through and bike was gone.

My bicycle was stolen from my garage that I share with 2 neighbors. The frame and front wheel of the bicycle was locked with a U-lock to the frame of a standing steel shelf that I own. On Monday morning (~6:00am), my live-in girlfriend discovered that the bike was missing and the shelf had been cut into. I emailed my neighbors. One said she had been out of town for a few days. The other said he and his wife had been out of town since Saturday (June 28) morning and returned Sunday (June 29) evening to discover our garage door (the one the cars enter and exit) had been open and some of his property missing. We have other property in the garage of lesser worth that hadn't been touched.

Stolen while locked to bike rack in front (W) of Navy Pier. It's very dark at night - ideal for thieves. Bike was locked w/ 2 cable locks to rack w/ friends bike. When we returned both cable locks were cut, lying on ground.
