Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

My neighbor sends me a ring video of a person taking my Amazon package off of the front porch at 4:55pm, I am not home at the time. This person is white male, 5’10”-5’11”, 160lbs, aged 30-35, slim to average build, wearing blue gloves, a grey sweatshirt, black beanie, black pants, wearing a black and red backpack with a red capital A on it and a light blue zipper. He was riding an old grey bicycle in the video. I have pictures and video of this person. I came home 1 hour later and pulled the car into my secured and gated parking lot. I walk up the parking lot stairs to my back patio/porch where my family and I keep our outside equipment. There I see that my brand new 1450.00 dollar Turquiose blue Specialized bicycle has been stolen as well. The parking lot is secured by a metal 6ft tall fence, the bars seemed to have been pulled and pried open so someone could get in. I don’t know how the person was able to get my bicycle over the metal fence. Again, I have a video of the possible offender and the package theft.

Locked bike to bike rack, came out of building and it was gone. No cars parked in front of bike, well lit area

Garage door may have been left open. This bike and another bike (blue giant contend) were stolen from my garage.

My garage door may have been left open and the bike was taken from my garage (along with my wife's bike).

While I was working my bicycle was stolen when I looked at the security camera of my work we observed that the person who stole my bicycle seemed to be a homeless man with Caucasian brown skin, who cut the lock and took the bicycle this happened around 8:30 pm today Friday, March 13

Locked to bike racks at Lawrence and Ravenswood, northwest corner that was highly visible. Accordion lock used.

Bike was stolen from a closed garage on my property.

Parked bike and locked it to a bike rack in front of city children’s academy at 8am. Lock was cut and bike was stolen at 12:15 as recorded on a security cam. Video shows man cutting the lock and riding away in a ski mask, black hoodie and blue jeans.

Bike was stolen in the time frame of a few months ago before 1/1/23. I don’t know exactly what day because it was in a storage unit in my condo building that I don’t frequent during the cold months.

Gone when returned to garage 2/28 am

Bike stolen from apartment storage room. Last used Wednesday night 2/18, found to be missing Monday morning 2/23

Two males entered a gated back yard through the alley and located the bicycles which were secured under a porch and not visible from any public areas. Video shows them searching various residences prior to finding the bicycles, then riding away with this and another bicycle.

The building is reviewing footage to determine the exact date and time it was stolen. Sometime between Noon on Feb 16th and 11am on Feb 19th. I have not filed a police report yet but plan to and will also share photos

Sometime between 2/17 at 6pm and 2/18 at 2pm, my bike was taken from behind a locked back gate from my back porch/stairs. Never been an issue leaving it outside. Someone must have gotten through the gate or left it open.

I parked my bike at a bike rack outside of Centre Physical Therapy at 2116 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL, 60614 at 11:30am. I came out at 12:04pm and my bike and lock were gone. I checked multiple businesses on the street to check for security footage, but none were pointed at the bike rack. We checked cameras to see if anyone rode away down the street with my bike, but did not see anything. I assume the bike was put in a car and driven away.

Bike was located in my garage. Someone entered the garage and stole the bicycle from there.

unknown when exactly this occured [On 2/16 victim reported: "Hi there. I had just reported a stolen bike, but apparently my condo had taken it. So I think I’m able to get it back."]

Bike stolen literally right after we moved on Friday Feb6th. Noticed it about 3 days ago.
