Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was in an enclosed and locked backyard. Someone had to come in and take it. The bike was not locked since it was inside a locked backyard.

Bike was inside locked back entrance/porch. The lock was shimmied, door left open. The lock went thru the wheels. I just found the serial number so am reporting it now.

Bike was locked at Damen Blue Line station bike rack. Left for about 2 hours. Came back to find bike and lock missing.

Garage door was left open, bike was behind car in garage mounted to wall

Bike was across the street from yolk at McClurg and Grand in downtown Chicago.

Went inside for 20 minutes and the bike was gone at my return. Reported to building security and CPD

My friend and I were going to six flags and we rode are bikes to Union station and then went to Ogilvie station then we put are bikes on the U rack what I didn't realize was that there was two steps to lock the lock and I only did one. When we came back the bikes were gone and the lock was on the ground.

Occurred between 10:00pm on 8/28 and 5:45am on 8/29.

My apartment was broken into and bike was stolen from inside the apartment.

My bike was on my back patio (gates closed and locked) and was stolen from my back patio while I was home.

The bike was locked to a bike rack in front of the Washington entrance of the Chicago Cultural Center.

Bike was there before i went to bed, when i woke up it was gone, along with the other peoples bikes in my complex. located in fenced and locked back yard

Bike was left unattended for a short period of time at Horner Park, east end, at the entrance to the nature trail/path between 2:15 - 2:45 pm on Sunday 8/25. It was taken during this time period while the owners were out of sight, down by the river along the path.

Stolen from Garage

I was away this weekend so this could have happened while I was gone. I noticed my bike missing this afternoon. There was a break in at the apartment next door this morning and the cops caught the offender but there's no way to tell if this is related except for the timing.

Between the hours of 8 pm to 11 pm on August 25th, 2019. I returned home (Belmont and Sheridan) around 8 pm. I left my bike outside on my balcony on the 2nd floor next to my partners bike, both unlocked, but within a locked communal apartment area. We were in and out of our apartment for most of the night until 11:30 pm when we noticed the bike was gone. Our next door neighbor heard commotion between 9:30-10:30 pm.

I foolishly forgot to lock the garage door after dropping off kids at child care around 8:30am- When I came back to the garage around 2:35pm, I noticed the access door was open and 2 bikes were missing including this one.

Bicycle parked and locked at bicycle rack at the University of Illinois at Chicago NE doors of Science and Engineering Labs East. Bicycle was locked to a rung amongst multiple other bikes. However, the bicycle was locked to the rung, individually. Nothing of the bicycle remained at the scene. The lock was also missing.
