Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike was locked in residential secure garage around 7 pm on Monday, 9/24. I returned Wednesday morning around 8:30 to commute to work, found only the front tire locked to the rack. The cable part of the lock missing along with the frame and back wheel. I assume the cable was cut as the cable was run through both tires.

While at was at the medical school, between 8:30am and 5:30pm, my lock was cut in broad daylight. I returned to find it broken, on the ground, and my bike was missing.

Bike was locked to rack next to Divvy station at Divsion & Ashland at 7 am. At 1 pm bike and lock were gone.

The bike was taken into the building's garage after 7pm on September 25th, and the front wheel was locked to the bike rack inside. When I went down to retrieve the bike for work, at 8:30am on September 26th, the bike was gone, with only the front wheel and the lock. It was locked to the rack with a U lock/round key and a cable through both wheels. The lock itself was not compromised, so the front wheel remains attached to the rack, but the rest of the bike is gone.

Left my bike locked at the frame. Somewhere between 10pm-6am the front wheel was stolen. To steal the front wheel they had to screw the front will.

The bicycle and lock are missing from the location.

Bike was stolen from apartment bike storage room on West Deming Place. Did not use bike for one week and saw that it went missing from then on. You need a key to enter building and another key to open storage room, so most likely another resident stole it. Other bikes in room not locked, yet not stolen. I am sad.

I have a black-and-white video of a Hispanic male, approx 5'8'' 160lbs, moustache, plain ballcap, painters/khaki pants, long-sleeve t-shirt opening the door to the storage unit and removing the bike.

Theif gained access to the locked garage by defeating an exterior lock. The lock seems undamaged and I assume the thief was able to pick the lock.

My bike was left locked up (front wheel and frame locked to bike rack with U Lock) next to the Clybourne Metra Station. When I returned to the station in the morning to retrieve my bike, both the bike and lock were gone.

I locked my bike at the southeast corner of Maple and Dearborn, directly across the street from my apartment building on the evening of Saturday, September 22nd and when I went to go ride it this morning, Monday, September 24th it was no longer there.

The bike was left locked by the Nandos Peri Peri on diversey/clark/shubert. Went in for 5 min and the bike was gone.

Actual time and date specifically are unknown. Suspected to have been stolen between 9/15/18 and 9/24/18. I suspect they entered through the back door. Bike was locked to a bike rack that was bolted down to the cement floor in the basement of my apartment complex. The front wheel was locked to the rack with my U-lock and was not opened or tampered with. The entire frame was stolen with the front wheel left locked to the rack, and the back wheel was left in the hallway of the back stairwell.

I believe the person removed the crews at the base of the street sign and then lifted the pole up and slid my bike off
