Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Workers doing repair work in my home. Bike was covered with a plastic tarp, along with other bikes. Notice bike was missing the next day, when attempting to ride. All other bikes were presented. Asked workers of course denial. Have a police report however, I didn't have the serial number of the bike, when calling to report. ( Very upset).

During an event at our collective space (the Eco Collective, in Pilsen), 3 men in black hoodies paid to get in & were weird and shifty all night. They slipped to the back when the event ended, opened up our dividing doors to the rest of the garage, and stole this ( and 3 other bikes) through our back door. There are 6 people in our collective, this is our main bike storage area and is a locked and enclosed space. list of items stolen: KHS Urban Uno bike · Schwinn Bike · 30’ ladder · Vitamix 5300 (not only used for work, but a gift from one of our mothers) · Rigid 18v Drill and Impact Driver · Chop Saw · Yamaha MG10XU Mixer · Alesis Multmix 8 USB · several Shure SM 58 microphones · Two Behringer b212 speakers · Fender Roadhouse Strat · Fender Frontman 2x12 amp (it has Daymade written all over it) · Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, Russian Big Muff, MXR Phase 90, MXR Overdrive, loop pedal, tuner, various ¼” cables of different lengths · All our Daymaker merch save for a few tapes (this actually has no value, but maybe the hardest to stomach) · Toyo-View 45CX View Camera w/210mm lens and 8 neg carriers · The BEST Polaroid of Eric Newmiller that’s ever been taken · Berlebach Wooded Tripod · Minolta Spot Meter · 2 Bowen Monolights and stands

Parked and locked the bike against a fixed bike lock frame in the North East corner of Adams and Clark. Came back after a couple of hours and the bike was gone. No trace of lock or bike. Looked around and asked security people around. Nothing.

I had my bike locked to a metal pole in a fenced in passageway behind my apt. I think someone, somehow saw my bike behind a tall wooden fence and cut the lock or cable

Bike was locked to a black rod iron fence.

155 N Upper Wacker SE corner of building bike rack. Man in black coat approaches bike at 2:07PM. Takes 3 mins to evaluate and either cut or pick the pink steel hinge lock. 2:10PM Takes my bike, the lock, and grey helmet and rides East on Randolph. Caught on Video.

Bike was in a secure area, but not locked. My Topeak Trunk bag (with the lock & key inside -- stupid me!) were also stolen. I don't know exactly when it was stolen because I was out of town, but it was some time between 1/18 and 1/23.

This mountain bike, along with another, was stolen out of garage that backs onto alley this afternoon at about 3:20pm. Neighbor down the road saw the guy, got a pic from behind as he headed down the alley and she then called the police. The 1/2" braided steel cable was cut, not the lock. We are still confused as to how he got access to garage as door was closed maybe the auto door's radio frequency has been skimmed?!? Just wanted to mention this if others have had similar situation.

Outside rack Ann Prisker School was stolen, yesterday January 24 probably in school hours.

I had unlocked my bike and the thief took it from me.

Bicycle was locked to Chicago bike rack on Randolph between Michigan Ave and Wabash in front of the Chicago Cultural Center.

Left at 10:30am. Door was locked. At 4pm, door was wide open and bike was gone.

Locked outside the Albany Park villiage discount- we were inside for about 1 hr, came out and the bike was missing.

Bike was locked at the porch steel. They cut the steel and took the bike.

Came and entered basement of our 4-unit building where all of our bikes are stored and mine was gone. Last time I had seen it was 12/18 in the afternoon.

Gray Fuji Royale single speed bicycle was stolen from the apartment complex sometime between Tuesday morning (1/10) and Wednesday evening (1/11). There is an area at the bottom of a stairwell where tenants store their bikes. The front wheel was locked to the frame, though the bike was not locked to any thing structural. The building is locked 24/7, though there is access through a keypad.

Bike was stollen from my apartment , Somebody walked in to my apartment and stol it from my basemant.

Police report filed, but no number right now. Our garbage cans were left out at extra day and someone used them to get back to our garage where they picked the back lock and pulled out the bike and loose change from my car.

Bike was in enclosed, detached garage
