It was bought in 1996. It has a "fair trade" sticker on it and a "John Bull Cycles" sticker because it was bought in Christchurch, NZ. It has a blue metal water bottle cage. The bike seat is yellow and black and mostly eaten by squirrels. The right and left handlebar grip don't match. The bike had just gotten a flat tire in the back a few days before that wasn't fixed yet. It had a milk crate attached to the back. It's an aluminium frame. There's a friend of mine across the stree with a red bike with a milk crate. I hope nobody accidentally thinks his bike is mine. Mine has the word "specialized" and the fatter aluminum tubes. Thanks.

Bike disappeared from my garage (Fulton River District - Intersection of Fulton and Des Plaines over the weekend (7/21-7/23). It's been stored safely there for over a year without incident, apparently some neighbors saw a suspicious individual in the garage and called the police but not before he seems to have made off with my bike. The ironic thing is that the large majority of people will not be able to ride this bike. Is is 61 cm and currently set up for a 6'8" person (me) to ride. There is a U-lock holder attached to the vertical bar where a drink holder usually goes. Any help in finding my ride would be greatly appreciated, as you can imagine this is extremely frustrating!

The bike was stolen because it is an eye candy and it did not have the best locking devise. It was parked right in the front of the security booth at John H Stroger Hosital parking garage. I came in to work my shift at 7:30 am and when I got off from work at 5pm the bike was gone. I will try to find out if there are security cameras that could potentially reveal the event.

My friend and I rode bikes to the rock-n-roll race in grant park. I always ride to big races and lock my bike in front at the Art Institute of Chicago. There are usually several other people who do the same, however this time when I returned there was only one bike there when I returned. I think someone took all the bikes in this area at once. I left the bike at 5:30am and locked properly and when I returned at 11am it was gone. I will never lock my bike there again.

The plastic over the left gear is cracked and partially missing. The chain is a little rusty and clicks when you ride it. You can only ride it in first and third gear without it making a pretty bad noise and the grips on the handle bars is pretty warn. The lock that was on it was a flexible chain lock covered by a think plastic and it attached with a four-digit code to lock it.
