Was home for about an hour, bike was locked to porch with cable and master lock, went outside to have a smoke, bike was gone... two other bikes with u locks still on porch but moved

Locked it, went into art center around 5 and worked until 9; when I came out bike was gone.

My bike was locked to a street sign with 2 other bikes. The ulock was cut and all 3 bikes were stolen. The theft occurred on a busy street in front of a bar on a Saturday night.

The bike was locked to a bike rack in front of my gym. The lock was woven in between both tires, the frame and the rack. I found the velcro that ties the bike lock up at the "scene of the crime" - leading me to believe that the lock was cut through with some type of bolt cutter. I was in my gym for approximately one hour and the bike was stolen some time between 9am and 10am.

My bike was locked in front of my gym at 1030 N. Clark, Chicago IL. I locked it a bike rack and when I returned in an hour the bike was gone. The velcro that ties up the lock was located on the ground where I left my bike - leading me to assume that someone cut through the lock with some type of bolt cutters. However, both the bike and lock were gone when I returned.

Bike was locked to an iron fence within our yard. Some sort of bolt cutter was used to cut through the iron fence and remove the bike. Lock would have still been attached to bike.

Locked it to a bike rack next to another locked bike. There is mild traffic in the area with valet parking attendants, smokers, and bar/theater/restaurant goers. I have parked my bike here many times without incident. When I left at 2am both bikes were gone without a trace of ever having been there. I do not know if the other owner's was stolen or just mine.

Bicycle was locked to the main bike rack located between the facility and the outdoor parking lot.

Went to visit a friend at her apartment, she said it would be safe to leave in storage room, i left it there for her to use the next morning, she gave us a call at about 6 am saying that it was missing.

Bike must have been stolen from someone with either wire cutters or who was able to compromise the lock and open it. I left it at the CTA station on my way to work at 11am, came back at 5:15pm and it was gone without a trace. CTA employees knew nothing and do not have cameras on the premises.

I locked the bike up in the morning. When I left the office at 6:15 to leave the bike was gone. In fact, there were no other bikes on the bike rack. Usually there are so perhaps there were more stolen.

I kept the bike under a porch in front of a friend's apartment thinking I'd only be at her place for an hour and when I came back the bike was gone.

Bike was locked to thin metal fence post inside gated courtyard. Fence post was cut or sawed, then bent to remove the locked bike. An attempt was also made to cut the post where another bike was locked. Not amused, I tell you.

My bike was locked to a bike rack outside Union Station on Jackson between Canal and Clinton at noon. I went in Union Station for a meeting. When I came back at 1 pm, the bike and lock were gone.

The picture is a bike that looks exactly like mine, except the tires are two different sizes. Also - have red wrapping on the handlebars.

The photo is not my bike, but mine looks very similar to this model. What happened: I locked my Trek green/silver mountain bike to the bike rack in front of my classroom building. After class, I saw the bike (2:45) as I went to the gym for a quick run. I had locked the bike to the rack through the wheel, not including the frame. During the 45 minutes I was in the gym, someone detached the frame from the wheel and took off, despite there being people around that area of UIC's campus all the time. I hadn't realized I had not locked the frame in. So frustrating! Thanks for looking.

My bicycle was stolen over the weekend out of our locked gate in the back of my building. It was a bright orange ING Direct Marin Hybrid. It would be quite a feat to climb over the locked 12-foot gate, and then hoist the bike back over that same locked gate.

Locked my bike outside of Fox and Obel store in Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago for ten minutes and some human garbage took it.

Assholes cut the fence my bike was locked to sometime between 4am and 12pm.

My bike was locked to a wooden fense on the my second floor back porch. My porch is somewhat secluded and someone had to have come up the back stairs and cut of the lock with bolt cutters; left the lock and had to have carried the bike down 2 flights of back stairs.
