Condition of Bicycle / Distinguishing Features:
I *just* had work done (at Boulevard Bikes) on the rear fender bridge, so that will have some tightening/welding marks on it. Also: recently replaced pads (which look brand new). My U-lock was secured to the frame when it was stolen, so even if the U-lock is discarded, there will still be the clasp that holds the U-lock in place, secured onto the frame under the seat. There is a decal on the back fender that is worn almost off and illegible, but the traditional Dunelt saying, "Ride awheel on Sheffield Steel," is perfectly legible, in golden/yellow painted font, along the frame. I adore this bike and have seen very few others in Chicago, so I am hopeful that its rarity will help it stick out in a crowd and, ultimately (hopefully), recovered.
