Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

This was a 20 yr old steel frame Schwinn the last made in Chicago. It had Aerospoke carbon fiber wheels grip shifters on Scott aerobars, Look pedals for large clips, Shimano gears. I've been doing triathlons on it since the Ironman in 1987. There are newer and better but this was my baby.

There were front and rear shocks. Cross bar says Gary Fisher in Black.

This is an IRO Heidi 46 cm black track bike. It has a flat bar with two brakes and all black wheels. It is obviously very small. There was also a front light on the front bar. The bike was a fairly new. Note that the picture of the bike features drop bars, not a straight bar.

Bike has a silver frame with red lettering. The Seat was pretty worn, and it had new grips.

This is a custom titanium Seven road bike; Dura-Ace components, titanium water bottle cages -- the whole nine yards. Also equipped with a Garmin 705 GPS, SRM wireless powermeter crankset. The only thing not over the top were the DT Swiss wheels I had on it that day. Taken from the Millenium Park bike station (which is generally very safe) by an African-American male, 5'10" - 6'0" in height, maybe 200 pounds, green winter coat and hat (caught on video surveillance tape).

2008 Cannondale F3 Caffeine with rear rack and new silver LX Pedals and huge silver trap pedals

It's a 2007 bike in very good condition. A u-lock was attached to the frame. There were metal pedals with straps, a front LED headlight (Cat's eye brand) and a red flashing light in back. Although it is a single-speed road bike, there were hybrid tires on it.

Good condition, but frame has dings and scratches, some of which have nail polish over them. Front fork is carbon fiber, also black. Has a whitish scratch on one side, I believe. Headset is blue (I believe Chris King). Drop bars with black and light blue tape; both front and rear brakes. White reflective tape on various parts of the frame, including the crankset, which is black. Rear wheel is flip/flop (single-speed/fixed). Yellow Crank Bros. pedals. Yellow water bottle holder. Chain is relatively new, with a snap-lock joiner.

Bike was old and beat up frame, there is a chicago redstars sticker on the headset and a simpsons sticker on the center post. Road drops with blue rubber handgrips, New wheels. Front was a 700x25 with a black machined deep-V rim, and rear is a 700x25 machined black rim, 18 tooth cog and lockring 1/8th inch. slightly broken saddle, seatpost shimmed with a portion of a highlife can, 16oz readable at the base of the seatpost.

Almost new..only rode it casually for one summer. The bike is black/grey with step in pedal straps.

Bike was in very good condition, few scratches. Had a Bontrager Interchange Rear Rack, water bottle holder, Trek Incite 9i bike computer, Village Cycle Center flat tire insurance sticker.
