Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

I came home, opened my shared garage door, and found my wife's bike and my own were missing. There were other bikes in the garage, none of which were taken.

Bike was locked near the E Wing entrance of the Technological Institute. I had ridden it around 1pm that day. It was found to be missing around 7:30pm of the same day.

Was stolen out of my garage. Sometime between 6 pm and 8 pm, someone came in my yard, went into the garage, unhitched it from my kid-trailer, opened the garage door (left it open), and took off.

I locked my bike to the bike rack under the Metra Clybourn stop and when checked on next morning it was gone. No lock was left - no trace, just gone.

Stolen while left overnight at Ogilvie.

I locked my bike in front of xsport gym on north ave. I came out an hour later and it was gone.

Bike was taken from light pole in front of my building overnight. Other bikes in the same area were untouched.

Bicycle was stolen from the bike room of my complex on Grace and Sheffield.U-Lock was keeping the bike locked and the cable that the bike was connected to was cut. Bike room is in a gated area in which you need keys.

I returned after two days away and our garage had been broken into; the bike was stolen and most everything else we keep in the garage was left in place I discovered the theft around 11am on Sunday, July 19th, but my roommates and I believe the theft could have happened anytime between July 17-19 based on the last person who was in the garage.

I was eating dinner in Carbon from 8pm-9:10pm and that is when my bike was stolen, which is about 150 feet away from the bike rack. I suspect the thief used a heavy duty bolt cutter as there was nothing left when I returned (my helmet, bike and lock were all gone). At about 9:15pm while I was on the phone with the police, an all black Trail Blazer pulled up and stopped for a moment right by us, and I believe I saw a bike wheel in the back. I suspect the thief might have circled back to check the scene, but I was not able to see the license plate.

Went out to dinner and bike gone when I returned. I know that I was using an inadequate lock (cable with integrated key) but was very disappointed to lose this bike!

I got arrested and he took it home now he won't give it back. And I can't get it back because I'm on house arrest . He stay on central park and Lawrence with in Albany park.

Bike was locked right under the Ravenswood metra station on the right side of Lawrence street facing east.

Bike was in locked, secure access garage at 400 S Jefferson St - Hillshire Building. Bike was not locked to the rack inside the building. Thief entered through garage style door after car exited. Left with my bike, re-entered and stole another bike.

The bike was not locked as it was inside a secured and locked garage at the time it was taken. Bike was taken from secured garage (Condo building garage) some time between 5:00pm on Sunday, July 12 and 6:00pm on Monday, July 13. Bike is bright blue with the brand "Raleigh" in white letters on the side of the body. Bike is tall withcushioned seat. There is an Abus brand chain lock wrapped around the shaft near the handlebars (stored there when bike at home), which is/was closed with a combination lock when the bike was taken. Perpetrator likely walked out of the building through the garage exit which is on the 200 block of N. Carpenter, 60607 (back of the condo building).
