BIKE WAS FOUND MISSING IN OUR STORAGE AND PUBLIC STORAGE ON YORK ROAD IN BENSENVILLE. WE BELIEVE CREWS THAT WERE REPLACING NEW ROOFS WERE ABLE TO LOOK INSIDE OUR STORAGE FROM THE TOP AND SAW THE BIKE. WHEN WE ARRIVED ONE DAY EITHER MARCH OR MAY DURING THE DAY, OUR LOCK WAS CUT AND THE BIKE WAS STOLEN. MY HUSBAND WAS SICK AND DEVASTATED AND WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY INSURANCE ON IT. MY HUSBAND BELIEVES IT WAS VALUED AT 2K. PLEASE HELP US!!

Locked my bike out front of work to a street post with U-Lock and cable. Left out front of work to get a drink and when I came back the post had been completely removed. Some person has been stealing bikes out front of our work regularly and it's very frustrating. Bike may include Monkey Light on front wheel and closed toe straps on pedals.

Bike was almost brand new. Dusty, but only because it had been stored in a basement and not ridden. At the time it was stolen, it had a black basket attached to the front of the bike. It's a beach cruiser, not really meant for Chicago street biking. Also stolen was bike pump for tires and black U lock.

Bike was stolen from locked basement storage area sometime in early to mid October, 2015. It is a maroon and cream Schwinn women's beach cruiser. At the time of theft, it had a black storage basket attached to the front. Also stolen was a black/dark gray U Lock. It's not a common Chicago street bike. It's made for mostly leisure rides on wider paths because of the wider handlebars. Brand new, only ridden a couple of times.

I locked my bike next to the Rogers Park Metra station. It's at Lunt and Ravenswood. There's an overpass bridge with bike racks underneath and that's where I locked it. The lock was locked through the rear wheel and frame to the bike rack. When I returned at 10pm it was gone, including the lock.

There is currently construction being done on the building and the contractors apparently are wedging the back gate open. When I went outside this morning the bike was gone, along with the lock. There were bits of rubber on the ground but no metal. The lock was a Kryptonite Series 2.
