Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was still locked to the fence at 2:00 am and gone by 9:00. The Kryptonite lock was clipped on the pavement, and no other trace of the bike remained. The bike locked next to it was left alone.

Bike was locked to a city bike rack in the 100 block of south State Street next to the subway entrance.

I saw the bike still locked up through the window of the yoga studio. I turned off the lights in the studio and 10 minutes later walked out to see my broken lock on the ground and no bike anywhere. There is not good lighting by this rack and it is near under the elevated blue line tracks.

I had not ridden my bike for a few weeks, but it was last locked up to a metal pole in the basement of my apartment building. I went to the basement to retrieve my bike today and realized it was missing.

Bike was locked in a gated patio outside apartment, inaccessible from the street. Fence would have been hopped or gate left open to get to the bike, cable lock and extender cable both cut.

My bike was locked to a bike rack outside of the Logan Square Blue Line station. It had thick cable locks running through the front and back tires which were then locked to a heavy duty U-lock attached to the rack. The cable locks were the ones that were clipped, the U-lock was not touched. The bike itself is completely gone.

It was parked inside my residential building, the front door was not broken. The bike was not locked.

Bike was in my basement unlocked.

A young man knocked me off my bike while on the lake shore path (on the bridge, south of Navy Pier) and took my bike, and rode off. Police report was filed. Strong armed robbery.

Locked bike up on a bike rack I front of an Aldo in front of the division blue line entrance on the corner of divsion and Milwaukee. I left for a few hours to meet a friend. When I returned it was gone with a different bike locked on the same bike rack.

Bike was locked with a combination cable lock to a bike rack, located by the south entrance to Millennium Park, just off Monroe Street, near the Lurie Garden. I locked the bike around 6pm. I was gone when I returned to the location around 9pm.

I locked my back to the rack through both the frame and the wheel at about 8:45 AM and came down from my office at about 3 PM to find the bike missing. Employees at the make-up shop on the corner of State and Madison told me that the manager (who had left by the time I arrived) saw an African American male pulling on the lock, and she went to the door and he went away. He then returned and took the bike and headed north on State St. She called the police and they came and took a description, and there are cameras that face the bike rack. When I filed the police report over the phone they told me that they cannot connect my report to the police that arrived on the scene.

The bike was parked in the yard in the morning at 9am but disappeared around 11am when the owner went out to get it.

I walked outside and my bike wasn't where I had locked it.

Iron pole was severed. Inside a courtyard with an iron pole fence around it. No Picture since I had it only for one and a half months.

I locked my bike up and went into work at 10:30 am. When I came out of work at 6:30 PM my bike was gone.
