Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

The bike was in mint condition. It was a relatives from 1973, and had probably ridden 10 times. There is a gold plaque on the frame that states it was registered in Omaha, NE some time in the 70's. There were fenders over both tires.

Bike was virtually Brand New. Standard issue on features for the bike including disc brakes. The only "modification" was that it had an added trailer piece on the seat post for attaching a Trek child's bike to it. It also had a kickstand.

The bike was almost exactly a year old - very new looking and very clean. It's green with silver lettering and a silver handle bar. It's a men's bike but was small enough for a girl to ride on. It had anti-theft bolts on the tires and Radius Mech 7.0 disc brakes. I had removed the seat before it was stolen.

Pretty old, with some paint scratches and some rust on the chrome but not much. Blue ladies bike with a stepthrough frame and a Sears and Roebuck sticker on the handle bar post. No other brand names on the bike, but it might have been a Free spirit. White handlebars, leather comfort seat with a metal plate on the back that said "Viscount". The rear fender was blue and white, with a V shape and a round rear reflector set into it.

Pretty new - the major distinguishing features are Shimano BMX pedals and a scrape on the top of the left gear shifter.

Bike is 2 years old but in PERFECT condition. It has a rear kickstand and a mount for a U lock between the 2 middle bars of the frame. also on the 2nd lowest bar of the frame from the top was a U of Chicago Police registration number so there should be residue left from the peeling off of that sticker.

About 15 months old. Trek headlight and taillight attached. Trek Interlock trunk attached to seatpost. Lefthand gear-shifter slightly detached. Cable lock mount attached to main post.

Brand NEW...this was only the fourth time I've ridden it. The color is a blue fade its goes from light to darker blure from front to back. There is also a green sticker on the bike that says "Bushwacker" which is the store where I boght the bike in Peoria.

As it was last seen: A surly modified for my height (Part of the reason I dearly want this back: it was very difficult to find a frame that fit my frame. I'm a tall girl with long legs and a short torso. My pant inseam is 36-37 inches if that helps gauge the standover on a potential found bike...) -A steep 59cm frame size with unusually short stem and smaller than normal handlebars for a typical men's bike (model has no braze-ons/ welded joints ) -A CroMo (steel) frame: Gunmetal grey color -single speed flip-flop fixed gear i(I dont remember the gearing ratio I had on there, but would say it is a bit higher than normal choice) -large caliper u-type brakes. Brake levers are hood mounted. -mavic wheels -tan leather brooks saddle -tan leather handlebar tape (with a long deep scratch on the left side from the license-less driver who hit me last October) -light pink platform type eggbeater pedals- crank brothers candy's (my old team pedals)... sad. *Differs from the attached (old) pictures in that most the decals were removed last year and the remaining decal on the top tube was covered with black electrical tape. The metal emblem on the front should still be there. I didn't have enough upper body strength to remove it. Crank arm should still have it's decal

The bike was in very good condition. Orange with Black letters and black seat. Only the lock was attached to it and nothing else.

The bike is in like new condition with maybe one or two scratches. It is all stock components except it has egg beater pedals with metallic blue beaters and a flat pedal (you know the kind where you can use your clips or regular shoes). It has black grip tape and saddle.

The bike was in great condition. I was the 2005 FCR4, Gray with blue writing. It had a speedometer fitting. Also, the bike had a bag rack on the back.

THe bike was an 87 Trek racing bike that I had recently re-built. I switched the road bars to black hybrid bars with clear grips. The back wheel was a velocity fusion. The pedals where old purple and white Shimano SPDs.

The seat is exceptionally worn and the rear brakes do not work at all. The numbers on the light hand gears are torn off and the bike has no reflectors
