I live on a street that a lot of Northern Arizona College students park their cars on and it was the end of the semester. I feel like someone had an eye on my vintage cruiser and decided to take it with them when they left school and returned home. It isn't a terrible neighborhood but it is a little hood. The bike was so unique I doubt anyone will try to ride it in flagstaff because it was rather identifiable. There were reflectors on every spoke on the front wheel and the back wheel had orange tape and black and white streamers woven through the spokes. It was my moms bike that she rode when she was in highschool and is very sentimental.

I've lived in this building since February. It was stolen from my enclosed (supposedly locked) back porch/stairwell. It was locked to a heavy duty shelving unit.

I'm quite perplexed at this because I live on the second floor and while my building is close to a busy street and the back door to the building is by a bank parking lot (empty at night), I find it hard to believe someone would enter just to steal these two bikes when there are many bikes much more easily stolen on the side streets all around here. I wonder if it could have been one of my neighbors.

I kept my bike in a key locked bike storage room in the building. My bike was hanging on a hook with a cable running trough the wheel around the frame and then down to my mountain bike and bike pump. I entered the room on the first and the road bike was missing but the mountain bike and pump were secured to the chain with the lock. I checked with the building to see if the bike was replaced or moved to another area since people were in there placing red removal stickers on bikes. The building denied any bikes have been moved. I am unable to open the current lock on the mountain bike as it looks like the lock was replaced.
