I have over 6,000 miles on the bike so it looks like its been ridden hard, but its been well maintained. The most distinguishing feature of the bike is an amateur weld beginning from the top of the down tube, extending down 4-5 inches. The weld is painted in a lighter brown color which does not match the rest of the bike. Other noticeable features include different wheels on front(black alex rims) and rear(unsure of brand silver), black fenders and rear touring rack.

Underneath the saddle was a little bike sack full of tools. It was the 2010 version of this bike http://bikesdirect.com/products/windsor/knight_x.htm with the ultegra components and vuelta tires. There were also some scratches on the handlebar brakes and there was also a plastic bottle holder installed.

Incident Description: 
I locked my bike to my girlfriend's bike in the parking lot of our apartment underneath a shaded area next to the fence. I left for a few days and when I came back the bike lock was cut and my bike was stolen. The thief left my girlfriend's bike and the broken lock which seemed to have been cut with cable cutters. Whoever stole the bike either had access to the garage door or climbed the fence, cut the lock and jumped back over the fence with the bike.

Looks like the bike above, but without the back bike rack. Earlier that night, a suspicious person was found on the roof of our neighbors building, and the police were called. About a half an hour later, went out to the back porch and a teenage kid, maybe 13, was standing in the backyard. When confronted, he left. We don't know if the bike was stolen then or the next morning, when our dog ran out our open backyard gate barking at something. We found him two houses down, barking in the direction of an abandoned house. Don't know if people are in that house - maybe squatters?

I came back from a ride around 10pm last night (July 9th) and locked my bike to a metal fence in front of my building at 659 W. Randolph. When I went out the next evening around 6pm to go on a ride it was gone. My roommate said he saw the bike at 6:30am when he left for work. It must have been stolen between 6:30am-6pm on July 10, 2012. I appreciate any help that you guys may be able to provide.

No caliper brakes or any other kind of brake on the bike. No wires anywhere (ignore the photos that include wires, notice no wires on the photo with me). Wheels: Newer wheels, front wheel has reflective circle on both sides and you can see it shining in the photo with me riding it. Stickers: Black "Working Bikes" sticker on lower portion of bike seat post. Add-Ons that may be gone: I had a bell that said "I <3 My Bike," also had a rear blinker like beneath seat post. Let's find this bike!"
