A bystander saw three individuals looking at my bike. Two acted as lookouts while the third retrieved bike. Police were called and alerted but did not respond.The bike was put into the back of a Kia Sport. I was gone for approximately 1 hour. If any one has any information I would greatly appreciate it.

My bike was locked with a cable and pad lock in the bike storage room of my apartment building. This week I discovered it missing and found my bike lock on the floor. The cable appeared to have been cut with a saw and a pair of wire cutters. I believe some low lifes entered the building with an unassuming group of people, stole my bike and rode it out the back door.

This bicycle is extremely new, only 3 months old! I took off the rear rack and red milk crate so never mind that in the picture please! It has Promax Mechanical disc brakes, and is gray with white streaks. It also has black riser handlebars and is full suspension. It's pedals and crankarms are white/silver color. Its treads are very new. I driled holes in the frame by the back wheel and secured them with nuts and bolts.

Bike was locked among all the other bikes of the apt building and mine is the only one missing. I think they snapped the chain and took the bike. I left the bike locked to the fence on my front porch, fell asleep and forgot to bring it in for the night. So it could have been stolen anytime between 9pm on April 26 and 1pm on April 27. No sign of the lock anywhere. I did notice fewer bikes than usual locked along the street, but that might have been my mind playing tricks.

Bike was locked with small kryptonite u bolt and kryptonite security cable through both wheels. Gyro helmet was also on cable. Locked to no parking sign next to bus stop sign just west of northwest corner of Balbo and Columbus. Bike was taken during regular business day Monday between 8a and 5p. No lock debris or pieces were found. This makes me unable to use my Kryptonite warranty! ARGH!
