Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Bike(s) were stollen from our garage at roughly 2:30 AM Monday, September 18, 2017. They were locked in a vehicle parked in our garage. Perp entered from our neighbors front gate and through the side of the building.

I locked the bike with a u lock from the frame to the bike rack and a cable lock through both wheels to the bike rack at ~8:30 am. When I went to leave at 7:30 pm it was gone with no sign of the locks.

Diamond Back Edgewood LX Dark Blue with black bike cargo rear rack, initials DP on the frame bottom stolen on 9/17/2017 from Jefferson Park Transit Center bike rack between 6AM and 4 PM.

I have 2 reflectors on the back seat post. There is rust on the front of the bike. I do have 2 different, distinguished looking tire. U-Lock holder is on the bike.

Locked bike around 3:45 pm on September 16, 2017, at 516 W Deming Pl. (Chicago IL 60614) on the furthest South most bike post on the Western side of the complex. Master Lock Keyed U-Lock was secured through the front wheel, bike frame, helmet PopLock, and cemented bike pole. The bike was noticed missing September 17, 2017, around 11:30 am. Stolen along with bike was the following: • SKS P45 Chromoplastic Longboard Fender Set (black front and rear fenders) • TeamObsidian Bike Light Set (black flashlight for headlight mounted on handlebars, taillight with quick release system mounted on seat post) • Master Lock 8320D Keyed U-Lock, 7-1/4" x 8" (with black protective vinyl coating and white Master Lock logo) • Small Heritage Collection Carbon Black Thousand bike helmet (matte black, white trim and leather strap)

Left for afternoon/eve. Upon returning home, main garage door was open and bike was missing (along with a pair of metal saw horses). Not sure if the main door did not close or opened by thief.

Bike parked on orleans and Chicago Ave. locked on north west corner.

Left bike locked to bike rack near hot dog stand in front of Chicago yacht club. Returned next day to find it missing.

A year ago the bike has been stolen once before at our old apartment, but we managed to find that bike in someone's possession on Devon Ave, that person was trying to sell it. The bike had a lock and they destroyed it. A year later we moved into a new house and have yet to get settled, and put the bikes in a hidden area in the backyard. Somewhere around last night to early this morning someone went through the gates, and took the bike (it had no lock). Strangely enough they didnt take the pink bike next to it, that also had no lock. We only know the time frame it was stolen. They most likely entered from the alley into our yard to take one of the bikes.

Bike was stolen between 10:15am and noon outside College of Medicine East Tower

Came out of Health Science Library on Polk St (UIC West Campus). Both bike and lock missing from the rack I had it locked to.

Someone entered our home's locked breezeway and stole bicycle from all season patio/stair well,

Someone broke into basement.

Roomate left our garage door open, and bike was parked inside

2 bikes were taken from the garage
