Parked next to El station.

Bike was hanging on hook from rafter of back porch of 3rd floor corner apartment, and was missing the morning of 4/21. Person who took it had to bypass locked back doors of apartment complex or scale fence to get into complex. Rims on bike are more faded than in photo, pic is from new.

Bike was locked to a bike rack near the corner of Randolph and N Wacker at around 8:30am. I locked it with a U-lock through the front wheel, frame, and bike rack, and a cable lock through both wheels. When I checked on my bike at around 11:45 during lunch, it was missing from the bike rack and the lock was gonna as well.

I left my bike in my gated back yard behind a bush, so it was not able to be seen from the alley or the street. I am unsure how someone could have gotten in my back yard with the high fences and I don’t know when the incident exactly happened, but sometime between the morning of 4/19 and the evening of 4/23

Locked my bike to the bike rack right in front of the apartment complex and it was gone with two hours

I last saw my ebike when I parked it in my backyard yesterday afternoon. I secured the rear wheel with the rear wheel lock, and I removed the battery. When I went outside today, 24 hours later, my bike was missing.

I entered the bicycle storage room at approximately 5pm on Friday, April 21st in the NocaBlu building where I live at 2340 N California Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647. The storage room is secured and requires key fob access, which are distributed to tenants of the building. I had previously locked my bike in the storage room in approximately December of 2022. I had used my Kryptonite Kryptolok U-lock to attach the bike by its frame and front wheel to the metal bracket and cable that was mounted to the wall. When I entered the room on April 21st, my bike was no longer there with all of the other items that were locked along with it (pedals, water bottle cage, flat kit, helmet, and U lock). Nothing else seemed to be amiss within the room; I did not notice any wall brackets removed or cables cut upon examining the space.

Bike was locked to bike rack. When went to get bike around 2pm it wasn't there.

Happened between 640-820 am. Locked to rack with u lock through rear wheel. Cable lock on front wheel too. No trace.

The Schwinn was inside of a button-locked front gate, visible from the street. It was locked at 8 pm. By morning it was missing. A gray bike helmet was left behind.

It was sitting right in front of the Chicago History Museum. I was notified by the bike company that my alarm had been triggered (there's an alarm built into the bike) and when I went to go check on the bike a few days later, the bike was missing. This alarm notification only gets sent to me upon repeated physical disturbance of the bike while its rear wheel is locked (it has a proprietary bolt on the rear wheel unlockable only via bluetooth on my phone).

Bike is always kept in backyard under stairwell, out of site. The yard is only accessible through gate via front or back. Someone entered from alley-way and took this bike and attempted to take my roommate’s as well.

Bike stolen from locked garage. Hanging inside garage not locked to anything. Stolen between 10am 4/11/2023 and 10am 4/13/2023

I was at work for 6 hours, came out and my bike was nowhere to be found.

bike was locked to the fence inside gated parking area, at around 3:15am the thief jumped the fence, cut the cable, and took the bike. I do have video from the building supt of the bike being taken.

Bike was locked to rack outside Northwestern Hospital Prentice Building (Fairbanks Ct & Chicago Ave). U-lock through rear wheel, frame, and rack with a cable lock through front wheel and U-lock. Locked at 9:00 AM. When I came out at 5:00 PM, bike and locks were gone.

Parked bike on basement backyard porch on a bike rack. There is a locked gate to get into the yard. Woke up to ride my bike to work like I do every day and It was gone.

Bike was stolen from a locked storage room accessible by all tenants of my apartment building at some point between April 1st and April 11th (when I noticed it was gone)

Bike stolen from back porch at night about a year ago. Thief or purchaser of stolen bike seen riding it around Bridgeport neighborhood this winter and 4/11/23.

Bike was parked and locked at 7:30am in the courtyard of the Langham/AMA building at 330 N Wabash on the bike racks closest to State street on North side of building. I was in the building all day and returned to find the bike and lock missing at 4:30 pm. There were other bikes still on the rack. I reported the theft to building management but I'm not sure if they will be reviewing security camera footage.
